As a makeup and professional beauty student, keeping hands and kit free from bacteria should be a priority as touching a model's or a client's face with hands, products and tools is part and parcel of your training and of the service you will be offering.  Value their health and safety above your time.  One minute to sanitize your hands in front of them with a high quality sanitizer is really important. Tell them what you are doing and why.
